During the weekend of January 13-17, LGBTQQ folks, and their allies converged in Las Vegas for the 5th annual Sin City Shootout. This sports event offered competition in Tennis, Basketball, Wrestling, Bodybuilding and Softball.
 
This year, several players from the Silicon Valley Softball League were picked up as players on B, C and D-Division teams from all over the country; this offered a fun opportunity for players to interact on other teams and play against each other.
 
Silicon Valley Softball League is also proud that the Woodpeckers tournament team won the 2012 D-Division Championship. The Woodpeckers is made up of players from within SVSL. Their hard work and regular practice is commendable.
